X2Pro does not change audio sample rates, and there is no way to make it do so.
Pro Tools (and most other DAWs) cope find with mixed sample rates, though I have Pro Tools, in some situations, create sync issue if you tell it to perform SRC (sample rate conversion) when opening an AAF.
If you open your AAF in Pro Tools with SRC turned off, do you still see sync issues?

My first posting here. I apologize in advance if this has been discussed in depth before. I couldn't find a related thread that addressed this exact anomaly.
I'm doing post sound on a documentary. The location sound recordist recorded audio at 48kHz and the cameraman recorded audio at 44.1 kHz. The editor synced the audio tracks with no problem during editorial using FCPX. My AAF, however, has problems. In Nuendo, the session defaults to 44.1 (camera audio) and the remote audio is playing back at the slower speed which also causes it to be out of sync. The camera audio is fine. When I import the AAF into ProTools, I have the option of conversion which then corrects the speed problem; however, the remote audio is out of sync by about 11 frames.
Does anyone have a methodology they use to correct these issues? E.g., can we make sure all audio during the X2Pro conversion ends up the same sample rate?
Many thanks.
