Hi Angus, James,
I have some more time now to explain the problem. Audio was recorded on 2 recorders, a Nagra VI & SD 788T.
Material from both correctly display the channel name (e.g. mid/side etc.) from the poly's in FCPX.
In protools, after making an embedded AAF with x2pro, only the material from the SD 788T still has channel information.
Anything I can do?
Thanks,
Sandro

Hello Sandro,
from what i remember this was an issue with stems coming back from the post house using protools and the NLE correctly reading them as 60fps. As far as i know protools has no controls when it comes to frame rates in BWAVs when it does a bounce out. Processing the clips in wave agent allows us to re-tag as 25 fps in our case.

Hello James,
I think so, FWIW in wave agent the TC field is empty but can be set to 25 to make the "frames" count correctly. Just need to make sure there is no change in sync. !

The audio we have coming back from ProTools is in sync and looks fine, but is counting to 60frames in FCPX. Every second is fine and matches back to the video frames between don't match. All projects are 25fps. Is this a PT issue or potentially a QuickTime issue?
