If this is happening on many clips, would you be able to find a very small one and let me take a look at the clip here? I can provide FTP details via email if necesarry.

Can you please either paste the error message that you get for the fcpxml that you have sent, or send the fcpxml that you used when you got the error below

Many thanks for getting back to me so quickly. Changing the sample rate on some of the files that were giving me problems did resolve the issues with those files. And yes, some other clips were using AC3 audio - I have ended up deleting those from the project all together. So now the problems focus on two key interviews where the audio appears to be absolutely normal.
Great if you can look at the FCPXML. However, I am afraid attaching it to this forum message appears not to work - can I email it to you?
Best wishes,
Maarten

X2Pro shouldn't have any problems with mixed audio sample rates. It doesn't do any sample rate conversion; it will just embed the audio in the AAF at the original sample rate.
Can you please copy and paste the full error text (every line) and attach your FCPXML.
Are any of your clips using AC3 audio?

Have been having a nightmare producing the AAF out of of FCP X for a doco I am trying to finish so your help is much appreciated. After a lot of problems apparently caused by files which we at 44kHZ in a 48kHZ project, I am now constantly getting this error - picture attached - for the audio from two key interviews from the film (definitely at 48kHz and now constantly in dual mono throughout the project).
I am also sending through the FCPxml attached.
Can you please help me as soon as possible? Many thanks!
Maarten
PS: seems attaching picture is not working, the error message reads:
Wrong number of data buffers (1) passed to Add Sample Data (expected 2)
Error code: 0x1
