Uploading clips now. A few things to note: Premiere and DaVinci Resolve can play back .CRM clips natively without the need for a plugin. FCPX and Avid however require plugins. I'm not sure what the plugins are for, but I assume it's for optimizing playback, not for the ability to transcode or debayer info. The plugins, as well as Canon's Raw Development software (for transcoding, etc) can be found on Canon's C200 support page: goo.gl/6VLDcw

Hi Chris,

We are not completely sure but, fundamentally AVFoundation is unable to extract the audio. Are you able to provide us a sample of some .CRM media? We will see if there is some way of using FCP/Compressor to convert it to a format that AVFoundation can extract the audio from.

Will send you an email with FTP details.

I have a timeline of .CRM files produced by the Canon C200 camera. I tried exporting X2Pro and got error. I assume this issue is similar to how the audio from the clips can't be extracted or trimmed? I tried creating optimized media as well, and to no avail. Any solutions for creating an AAF from FCPX? I'm running the latest OS and FCPX versions.
Thanks,
Chris.
