Hello Jeremy,

I'm not at the desk right now, but what I rember is that it is crucial to understand the "leave in place" function.
This works only with wave files and not with something that is coming from a camera (.mxf .mov ...) that was the only thing I didn't understand in the first place.

The tests I did had all be fine now with the beta verison. Just getting another big file on the computer with the sound file plus handles.

With 4K space is a big issue. So just linking to the camera file would be a good option for the future if that is possible with proTools the other player in the game :-)

Thomas

I believe you both received the email. It is good to hear that the new BETA version resolved your problem.
I will make note of it.

I believe my colleague James has emailed you the details for a new BETA version.
Have you been able to try that new BETA version and if so, what have your results been?

Mesmin,

Thank you for the sample file.
While we are looking into this issue, and to allow you to possibly get your project through, I would suggest running your FCPXML through an earlier versionn of X2Pro.
If you have a time machine backup of the 2.5.1 version, i think it would be best to try it.
If not, let me know and I can email you directly with some details.

Would you be so kind and let me know the Mac OS X version you are running on your X2Pro machine, please?

Many thanks.

Mesmin,

Would you be able to provide us with the file that is being reported to be failing to process?
Filename: DEMO1060.MXF
Referenced Location://Volumes/WORK 1/Christmas Luminous/Fr. Jim Sullivan/Camera 2/

Also, I could not see the clip "DEMO1060" in the Fr.Thomas XML that you included in your post.
Did you get a similar error on that file, as well?
If so, could you post the details from that error message, please?

I can provide an FTP location if you need one.
Please let us know and many thanks.
