While we are looking into this issue, and to allow you to possibly get your project through, I would suggest running your FCPXML through an earlier versionn of X2Pro.
If you have a time machine backup of the 2.5.1 version, i think it would be best to try it.
If not, lert me know and I can email you directly with some details.

Would you be so kind and let me know the Mac OS X version you are running on your X2Pro machine, please?

The file DAAD0952.mxf is 16 GB, so hard to transmit.

Writing AAF file
Adding assets to AAF file
Adding essence for asset [DAAD0945] to AAF file
Adding essence data to AAF file for portion 0 of asset [DAAD0945]

Failed to read 174762 samples
Error Timed out waiting for XPC response

Suggestion: Check Console for errors.

No AAF file has been generated.

Would you please provide us with the actual text from the X2Pro error and fro the Mac Console?
Your issue looks to be similar to a couple of other errors we have had recently.

Along with the log txt and the console messages would you be able to get us the file named "DAAD0952" too?

Same thing here just bought the software and made a test with some .mxf files in the "timeline" of fcpx linked to Sony FS7 original media files on a g-raid in a seperate folder (not inside the fcpx libary file - "leave in place")

the software suggest to look in the Konsole ...


There are a lot of "denied 404" in the Konsole

I'm worried wether I can realy go this way from fcpx to protools at all in a real project.
