Ok, I didn't knew Audio Planning and Retiming were not supported. So I guess I will have to avoid that in the future, if it can't be fixed in a upcoming version of X2Pro.

Thank you anyway for your time and disponibility, it will do the trick for this time.

Best regards !

Looks like the file converted in the new version as those messages only come up when the file actually converts.
The messages you provided say exactly what they mean. Retiming and Audio Panning are not supported in X2Pro.
Because we have seen retiming and audio panning in your original project, we note the times where those instances occur in your timeline and output them in a message so that they can be re-added or edited in the DAW if needed.

Please let me knowif you need more explanation or have any other questions.
Many thanks.

I have removed your XML, thank you for providing it to us.
The problem you are having should be fixed in the lastest release on the Mac App Store.
The version is 3.0.5 and if you will upgrade to that version and try again and see what your results are.

Please let us know if you have problems after the upgrade.
Many thanks.

Hello,

The editor I work with just finished an edit on FCP X 10.1.3, on a brand new Yosemite (OSX 10.10.5) MacPro 2013 (32GB RAM).

I tried to create an .aaf file with "Trim embedded audio" selected, and 2 seconds of trimmed handles, but X2Pro (3.0.2) keeps giving me this message :

An error occurred converting Final Cut XML to AAF

Writing AAF file
Adding assets to AAF file
Adding essence for asset [Bouclage 31] to AAF file
Adding essence data to AAF file for portion 41 of asset [Bouclage 31]
Reading audio data from audio extractor : 349525 samples
Failed to read 349525 samples

No AAF file has been generated.
X2Pro Audio Convert 3.0.2

I tried with an audio-only .fcpxml export, no luck either. I tried to import the file in DaVinci Resolve (12), wich keeps crashing when opening it.

Can you please help me on this, the post-production starts tomorrow (...!) with the sound editing. I would like to have a workaround to get a simple .aaf file.

Thank you for your time

PS : can you please delete the attached file from my post when downloaded please ? Thanks
