Jeremy,
I wanted to let you know that i was able to reproduce your error with your clip in my lab.
I have created a ticket and assigned it to my developers.
I will let you know as soon as i know something.

I will try it with your file and let you know.
I removed the link to it after i started the download, so your file wouldn't be available all over the internet.

Thanks for your help with this. Yes the clip plays fine in Quicktime. 90 % of the project is R3Ds and XML but these are some archive Red shots that are now .mov
I can send you the clip no problem.

Can you check the clip "A001_R002_0304LR" in your timeline and see if you can open it and play it using QT?
The path listed for the file is //Volumes/FR_1/WH2O/2013/Transcoded/13-26-02-CH-EPIC/A001_R002_0304LR.mov
Please let me know if you can play that file, and if you can, would it be possible for us to get it from you to take a look at.
I can provide a secure FTP location for you to upload.
Many thanks.

The error message "Failed to open bookmark for asset" indicates that the media locations have been invalidated since they were added, or that a "bookmark" in the fcpxml has been invalidated since it was created.
Try removing all media locations in the X2Pro preferences and re-exporting the project from FCP X.

Jeremy,
So sorry for your troubles.
There is no issue with dragging and dropping the FCPXML into X2Pro vs using the browse button; so you can continue to use which ever one is most convenient to you.
Would you be able to provide us with your FCPXML, please?

I've been working with FCPX and X2Pro for a while with no issues but just recently it stopped working with our Sony F55 footage and I keep getting the below error. I believe it maybe because I drag and drop the .xmf from finder rather then using the import function but I've never had issues with this before and now am under a major deadline to have this to my sound guy and no clue how to make it work aside from starting over which is months of work.
OSX Yosemite 10.10.5
FCPX 10.2.2

Failed to initialise audio extractor with default bit depth of 16
Failed to resolve bookmark for asset
No AAF file has been generated.
