Buying X2Pro?

The file that you will need to export form FCP X for X2Pro to convert to an AAF for ProTools is a XML.
X2Pro will browse the XMl and convert the audio in the XML to an AAF for importing into Pro Tools.
You do not need Pro Tools on your machine where you are running X2Pro to use the application.

And yes, you can setup 5 second handles on your FCP project conversion using X2Pro Preferences.

I need to export OMF or AFF from FCPx. Before buying X@Pro, I would need the answer to two questions, sorry it they are obvious:
- I don't have pro tools. My sound person has pro tools but doesn't have FCPX. If I buy X2Pro, can I export an OMF or AFF file from my laptop even though I don't have protools?
- can I export an OMF or AFF with 5 sec handles?
