Error creating AAF with all complex projects.

Yes I would agree that is somewhat extreme, could you provide us with the XML (the one were you got the error on Adding essence for asset [318_0095] to AAF file), and if possible the essence itself ?

Just to let you know, i took the first part of the edit (5min), detatched all audio and completely broke all clip items apart.
This took quite a while and i completely lost all volume-automation and faders, means: it's not usable at all…
Short story: the aaf export worked this way, but it's an extreme workaround that takes a lot of time and makes my sound guy kill me.

Actually its not an compund clip by the rules of fcpx but an audio clip disconnected from the video.
But I removed the time remapping effect but it' still not working :(
There are no conventional compound clips in the timeline.

Any ideas?

We suspect that you have retiming applied to a compound clip starting at 129.2 seconds into the project. Unfortunately I cannot load your XML into my FCPX here so cannot determine the name of the file.

This is the only actual error in the XML we can see, after this has been resolved you will find that there are quite a few retiming's on clips that we will warn about.

Can you locate the compound clip in question on your XML and either render this down as one clip and replace the existing retimed compound clip or remove it and then see if you can submit for AAF creation.

I tried beta 3.0.6 and 3.0.8 but both crash exactly the same.
I have sent you an email with all crash reports and the fcpxml i was using.

Would you be able to supply a copy of the console when you attempt the AAF creation. There is a possibility that this issue might be resolved in a beta which I will forward you the details of.

I can't get x2pro to export an aaf file for me.
Thats a problem because it's quite urgent.

This problem is persistent for 3 seperate projects between 5 and 9 minutes and quite a lot of editing.
This is the error for the most recent before i realized that i can't do anything about it.

And i am running a MacPro on OS X 10.11.2 and use the MAS Version of x2pro version 3.0.5.
The Final Cut XML is Version 1.4 (not working with 1.5 either) with Metadata set to "none" and the footage is mainly synced (sync-n-link) native fs7 AVC Intra mxf files and some wav and mp3 files.

I can send xml files and Console logs if you give me an email adress.

I hope you can help me.
