Dear MarsWeather,
We don't support retimed clips, what we will do is allow them to be transferred and warn of the retiming, the reason we cannot create the AAF is because there were retimed compound or group clips. In the next version we should instead of failing to create the AAF for such retimed compound and group clips create a report listing all of them.

Ok I did a work around leaving out the effects audio roll when exporting since the sound designer will be taking care of those anyway.
For future reference, x2pro will not create the AAF file if there are retimed audio clips?

Hi there,
I am attempting to send off a short film to a sound designer. I am using x2pro for the first time and keep encountering this error.
An error occurred converting Final Cut XML to AAF
Writing AAF file
Adding tracks to AAF file
Writing AAF track structure
Processing clip
Unable to find asset portion in asset r319 to match usage starting at 30.1334 seconds with duration 2.27214 seconds
No AAF file has been generated.
X2Pro Audio Convert 3.0.5
I have searched the forum and see some things about clips with retiming but I don't seem to have any retimed clips a the time its saying.
xml attached
please help!
