Michael,
The latest error you reported with the "Reference WAV files in place" setting switched on, was that with the same FCPXML you provided before?
If not, can you provide that to us?
Our developers had a look at your original error message, with regards to the "not enough room in the heap zone" and commented that the QTKitXPC has run out of memory and is unable to allocate any buffers for audio extraction.
We should be able to look at the Activity Monitor on the Mac and find out how much memory is in use on the machine in general, and how much is in use by QTKitXPC while the X2Pro conversion is running.
Please let me know if you can have a look at things and see what the memory usage is.
Many thanks.

Hi James, I've tried the Beta with Ref WAV files in place OFF and Trim ON and get the same error BUT if I turn on ref WAV files in place I get a different error. PS I have emailed console data for initial error.

Hi Mrolt,
If you go to applications and utilities and select console from here, there is a clear console switch available in the console, and this is the switch to use :-)
Yours Sincerely
James

Dear Mrolt,
Would you be able to clear the console, attempt the conversion again and forward a copy of the console. Its possible we might have resolved in 3.0.6, but there are at least two causes of the XPC error, and only one of which we know we have resolved.
I will send you a link to 3.0.8 but as you get the following Not enough room in heap zone error, after you have trimmed the XML, it might not resolve the issue.
Yours Sincerely
James.

Having had failed conversions with the XTP error message I split my timeline in two and re-exported 2 XML's. The first one, a 3 min seq worked fine but the second has given me a NEW error message posted below. This is SO frustrating.
