X2Pro Won't Create An OMF From XML

I've sorted it. I had to open a new project and copy the whole film in and for some reason then FCPX acted like there was a project in there when the always was!

A "Project" in FCP X is a known as a "Sequence" in other editors. In your screen shot, 23-02-2016 is an "Event", not a "Project" and there is a project called "First Cut".

Please select "First Cut" before you export the fcpxml.

X2Pro is right; your fcpxml doesn't contain a project.

Before you export the fcpxml, please make sure that your project is selected by clicking on it. If it is not selected when you export the fcpxml, you could end up with a file that just describes clips in an event or something similar rather than a project.

Hi I've attached a 1.5 file and 1.4. Neither work. The strange thing is I used X2Pro about a month ago from my macbook air and it worked fine. This time I'm working on my iMac and I don't have the option to use my Air because I'm using 2K Alexa footage. I'm also a new when it comes to workarounds.

hi I'm using FCPX 10.2.3 with X2Pro 3.0.5 and it's not letting me drop an XML into X2Pro to get an OMF... when I do it comes up with this:


I really need this video done this week so any quick help would be much appreciated,
