Hi,
The OS of the machine with all the errors, is 10.10.5.
To recap:
OSX 10.10.5
FCPX 10.2.3
X2PRO 3.0.13
is causing errors.
The same project on
OSX 10.11.4
FCPX 10.2.3
X2PRO 3.0.13
exported just fine.
Would I be totally wrong in assuming the OS could play a part in this?

Well... funny thing (or not, depending...)
I just tried exporting an XML of the exact same timeline on my own Macbook, and not a single issue.
Setup is the same, except os:
OSX 10.11.4
FCPX 10.2.3
X2PRO 3.0.13
This seems weird.

ChrisBee,
I don't understand your last post. Are you still getting errors about edit units? If so, then I think we will need an fcpxml and a clip that is mentioned in the error message when you try to convert that fcpxml so that we can try to reproduce and investigate here.

Adding essence for asset [23 - Fire Large Roar And Hiss With Crackles] to AAF file
Opening audio extractor for portion 0 of asset [23 - Fire Large Roar And Hiss With Crackles]
Failed to initialise audio extractor with default bit depth of 16
Error Setting up for audio extraction (The requested URL was not found on this server.)
Suggestion: Does this movie contain an unsupported audio format ?
.. ok, my bad.. ref file instead of audio. Consolidation mistake

We are getting tonnes of errors like these:
The clip starting at 2456.16 seconds in the project has an end point within its referenced asset [REP_PILOTERNE_mand i problemer issefjorden-FOTO1_31.36] of 20080 edit units but the asset only has a length of 13040 edit units

.. and again, using 3.0.13 of X2PRO
You probably won't find these in the XML, as we are fixing them as they show up. But it's really the biggest pain ever!

So yyyyyyeeeeaaaahhh....
Got that problem as well.. since I'm sitting with ep1 of that very same series (most likely.. something about helicopters..)
Old problem.. why hasn't this been fixed.
Issue seems to be that retimed clips need to have audio detached and then have their speed reset.
X2pro V3.0.13 as of *right now* can't seem to handle retimed clips with audio in them.
Detaching and resetting is what we're doing now.

Kyster created the topic: No AAF created - "referenced asset"
Hello X2Pro
I have a 43 min documentary and I get this error message when I try to create an AFF:
"Writing AAF file
Adding tracks to AAF file
Writing AAF track structure
Processing clip
Adding clip from source channel 1 to track 6
The clip starting at 614.68 seconds in the project has an end point within its referenced asset [REP_PILOTERNE-Aalborg-Karneval-Topsøe-Claus-Rasmus-på-gaden_23052015_81.1] of 4920 edit units but the asset only has a length of 3593 edit units
No AAF file has been generated.
X2Pro Audio Convert 3.0.5"
The clip is a normal clip with no retiming or other fancy stuff going on.
Are you able to tell me what is going on?
The 8,3mb XML is NOT attached because "Attachment file size exceed limit allowed by configuration".
(FCPX 10.2.2 & Yosemite 10.10.5)
Best regards,
Mikael
