That is a long time! Do you know what the memory and processor utilisation is during that time?
There is no way to get X2Pro to convert a project that contains retimed compound clips; you must remove them from your project before attempting to convert it.

They have each taken about an hour to export and now I have successfully done most of them, apart from one where I keep getting a ERROR MESSAGE that says
RETIMING OF COMPOUND CLIPS NOT PERMITTED. THE RETIMING AT 00:0023:80 IS NOT PERMITTED.
Can you advise how to fix this one?

How slow?
If you don't have "Trim embedded audio" turned on, then X2Pro will include all the audio from every clip used in the project (i.e. infinite handles), which could lead to a larger AAF file than expected. If you turn on this feature, your AAF is likely to be considerably smaller.

I've instaIled the update and have exported again, it seems to have worked but the export process is slow and the AAF file size is over 5GB for a five minute program - is this normal?
