Any chance that we can get the Console log from you?
I have tried to re-produce your crash with OS X 10.10.5 and 10.11.4 and with handles and without handles and have not been able to.
Please let me know if we can get that console log as it may be our only way to figure this issue out on your system.
Many thanks.

The Mac Console is found under applications and then Utilities on your Mac.
Open Console, clear the window, then try to run the conversion in X2Pro and copy the lines of the console for the conversion and put those into a text file and send to us.

Hi Jeremy
Yes it was a software crash. I've uploaded the xml to the ftp but I haven't dealt much with the console before, whats the best way of copying the info?
Cheers
John

Does the software actually crash or just output an error message?
If it is just an error , would you upload the text of your X2Pro error as well, please.
If it is an actual App Crash then, as James mentioned, we will need your FCPXML and the Mac Console log saved to a text file.

Dear John,
Can you attach the XML file for us to look at, we will try and run it here, I have to be honest I cannot see a reason why handles would make a difference. If you have the time and were able to run again without handles and forward the console we might be able to figure out whether it is a particular piece of essence causing the issue.
Yours sincerely
James

Hi James
So I've had another go with some settings. Originally I was exporting with no handles, I've done this a few times before. I've now given it 4 sec handles and it seems to have worked! I got a warning about a few filters not been recognised but that's all cool. Shall I still send over the original file for you to have a look at?
Cheers

Dear Mothercutter,
I would agree it is good practice to not change the OS whilst you are in the middle of a project. Can you clear the console, then start X2Pro and attempt the conversion, and then forward us a copy of the console in the first instance.
Many thanks.

Hi I'm trying to export an aaf for a feature documentary but it keeps crashing. I've the latest version of X2Pro my OS is 10.10.4. Would upgrading help? A you can imagine that's not ideal while in the middle of a project.
Cheers
