Glad to hear that helped. I'll try to explain what exactly I think was happening, and why that worked:
X2Pro has two methods of accessing media files that are outside of its "sandbox". "Bookmarks" are often (though not always) embedded inside the fcpxml, and "media locations" that need to be added if the bookmarks in the fcpxml are not sufficient. If a media location can be used to access a media file, X2Pro will use that in preference to a bookmark in the fcpxml..
I think in your case, the media location had "gone stale". We're not really sure how or why this happens (it's a part of OS X, so we can't really troubleshoot it) and we have never seen it happen in our labs, but we have had it happen in a handful of user's systems which is why I had an idea of what to suggest in your case. Removing the stale media location forced it to use the bookmarks in the fcpxml.
The earlier xml probably contained either stale or insufficient bookmarks, so you had to add media locations in order for X2Pro to be able to access the media files.

Hi,
Ok I deleted the media locations and then it worked fine. I then went back to an earlier XML of the same cut but before i had made changes to try and get the AAF out and it then wanted media locations set. Once set export was fine !
Thanks for the tip
cheers angus

Can you try removing all your media locations and try converting again with no media locations set. X2Pro probably won't prompt you to add new media locations but if it does, please add whatever it needs.
Let me know whether that make any difference?

Hi Graeme,
Attached is an XML of the cut
Media locations are all set and no issues when choked against the XML
We are on 10.11.4
All media should be online and currently no proxy files made.
cheers angus

Can you please attach your fcpxml (zipped if it is large), or email it over. You should have our email address already.
Do you have any media locations set?
What version of OS X are you on?
Are you sure that all the original media is online (i.e. you aren't working from proxies)?

Hi
I just tried to do a few conversions of a project where the audio was just cut points of a master clip for a world wide version so that the dub had a reference for the cut points and had the errors in the attached images, any ideas ?
cheers angus
