I disabled troublesome files.... it made the aaf with a warning that retimings would be ignored. Someone else will import to After Effects, I'll see if it's workable his end.

thanks

Glyn,

We're still investigating why you are seeing that error message, but my initial thought is that you have retimed synchronised clips in your project, which could be throwing it off.

Can you try removing the retiming effects, or the retimed synchronised clips entirely and let me know whether you are able to convert the project when you have done that?

I tried disabling the file (which appears three times), used option to discard disabled clips. Now I'm getting this error message

Writing AAF file
Adding tracks to AAF file
Writing AAF track structure
Processing clip
Adding clip from source channel 1 to track 7
The clip starting at 132.26 seconds in the project has an end point within its referenced asset [Scene_088.2] of 14747 edit units but the asset only has a length of 13595 edit units

No AAF file has been generated.

The file in question is an audio file. A shorter clip of it is used elsewhere

The problem seems to be caused by a WAV file called "PX pira 10173018 no pad exp hit sd.wav" from the folder "/x sfx more/pira sfx to picture - can be used in other progs/" on a drive called "Gun Man EDIT".

Are you able to let us take a look at that file?
