Dear Clausiii,
X2Pro V4 is now available and it will process retiming, however it will only do this if you also upgrade to FCP 10.3 and use the V1.6 XML export option.
Yours Sincerely

Dear Clausi,
There are four instances of the clip GOPR0013.mp4 being used, the first has simple re-timing the second has none, the third has some complex re-timing and so does the fourth and the audio finishes before the end of the fourth instance. The complex re-timing on the last two instances combined with no audio at the end of the fourth is probably the cause of X2Pro's failure to convert to an AAF.
In the current version of X2Pro we can only suggest you remove the complex retiming on the third and fourth instance and you should be ok, however you might then find it fails on more complex retiming with other clips if you have used similar complex retiming in the sequence. The good news is that we are testing the next release of X2Pro where we have spent considerable effort in coping with complex retiming and it goes through.
Unfortunately I do not have a date for when we are set to release the next version of the code.
Yours Sincerely
James.

yes, but when i delete the file from the FCP timeline and do a xml without it i get an error with another clip which has a speed ramp.
i can´t figure out the exact duration of the file, so i will send it via ftp. playback works without a problem in QTplayer, VLC and FCP.
Thanks

Dear Clausi,
The clip in question is Volumes/Media/Sead.fcpbundle/Sead/Original%20Media/GOPR0013.mp4, it is the same one in both XML's, Can you check this mp4 media in a player does indeed have start="51610.9260" duration="7.9746". If it does and can be played in your FCPX sequence, would you be able to upload this media to the drop folder on our ftp site.
Yours sincerely and many thanks

Thank you for your answer! And sorry for my stupid topic name, i didn't´t want to be rude.
I looked into the xml file and it seems that the translation from xml to aaf does not work on SOME files with a speed ramp. Some work, some don´t.
Will try to remove every clip with a speed ramp (which appear in the error message) one by one to see what´s the exact difference between files which work and those which don´t.
Thanks!
Will upload the xml asap.

Dear Clausiii,
This is exactly the same error message you had 6 months ago, except it was for a clip called "r25 to match usage starting at 6.006 seconds with duration 3.09071 seconds". I would strongly suspect that the clip r25 6 months ago and the clip r43 are one and the same. Unfortunately the only way to find the clip in question is to dig into the xml to determine its name and location. If you can provide the XML then we can let you know what it is.
Yours Sincerely
James

Hi!
i try to use the X2Pro LE version from time to time, but it always fails to work.
Writing AAF file
Adding tracks to AAF file
Writing AAF track structure
Processing clip
Unable to find asset portion in asset r43 to match usage starting at 6.006 seconds with duration 3.09071 seconds
No AAF file has been generated.
X2Pro Audio Convert LE 3.0.13
will there be a version that will work (at least for me)?
And i can´t attach the xml, it seems too big for this forum...
