Dear John
In the General tab in preferences there is the option to "covert non PCM" audio, can you check whether it is set to 16 or 24 bit.
Yours Sincerely
James

Hi All
We regularly use X2Pro to hand off audio to a Pro Tools based audio house. All our audio is 24 bit 48K WAV and shows as such in the FCPX inspector.
We don't have Pro Tools so can't check the AAFs we make. We rely on our audio guys to tell us if there is any problem. This week they told us our recent AAF files are importing to Pro Tools as 16 bit - when they should be 24 bit.
I can't find anything in the settings / preferences of FCPX or X2Pro that we have set incorrectly or might cause this.
Can anyone help with this? We are still using FCPX 10.2.3 (not had time to update yet) on El Capitan 10.11.6. We are using the most recent X2Pro update.
Any help / advice would be appreciated!
Thanks
John
