Scott, THat is good news.
X2Pro can be set to reference WAV audio instead of embedding it the AAF. This can result in a smaller AAF file, and may be necessary for some DAWs, but the clips must be relinked when the AAF is opened. Obviously if the media is not available on the machine that opens the AAF, it will not be possible to relink.

Although that file is listed in the FCPXML, it does not have the proper information of audio or video tracks to supply what is needed.
It actually looks to me like you have 12 instances like this in your FCPXML.
We have these these incorrect referencing before form Apple and FCP X, and they have always told us to have the user report the issue to them directly.
Here are the 12 instances that i can see where the asset reference in the FCPXML does not match the asset use later in the project XML.

You may be able to re-import the clip into your timeline and see if that resolves things on the clips that have incorrect details.

I realized that I can use the ID number to track down missing files...it's telling me that r1221 is missing (A054_C007_01297O) but it seems to be linked correctly in the timeline.

Scott Baker created the topic: Unable to parse FCP XML file to obtain project inf
I am trying to create an AAF and get this message:
Unable to parse FCP XML file to obtain project information
I have the latest version of FCPX and X2Pro (just updated today to Full Pro version), still doesn't work.
The FCPX file was create originally in May of this year and has been updated with the current version.
Attached screenshot of error message.
VERY URGENT!
Thanks,
