Dear GM,

We haven't received the clip in question, so can we assume you tried the work around as discussed, i.e. re-processed the media (via compressor or something similar) and then added the clip back into the sequence.

Please advise.

Yours sincerely

James

I have gone through the "If you seeing the error message "not a WAV file or too many audio channels", link and made any changes to X2Pro.
I have rebooted the machine (Once and a while that seems to help)
FCPX 10.3.1, iMac17,1 running 10.12.2

Got this error first via exporting an fcpxml and then importing it into X2Pro

Writing AAF file
Adding assets to AAF file
Adding essence for asset [008TK9] to AAF file
Opening audio extractor for portion 0 of asset [008TK9]
Failed to initialise audio extractor with default bit depth of 24
Error Setting up for audio extraction (The operation could not be completed)

Suggestion: Does this movie contain an unsupported audio format ?

No AAF file has been generated.
X2Pro Audio Convert 4.0.11

Then tried to share via my "X2Pro" destination and got further but still did not complete the aaf. It made it past the 008TK9.mov clip that was the previous problem.
This is that error (I tried to send this xml along also but the form said the attached files were too large.)
