Help needed after error - not AAF exported

Dear Graeme,

I managed to create an AAF from an older xml (a few days ago) and sent that to the mix studio.
Meanwhile, I updated another machine with OS 10.12.3 and FCPX 10.3.2. and managed to get an AAF without any problems.
I am waiting for the studio to tell me if everything is ok. So far the only thing is that they received many many tracks (the Sony FS7 records 8 audio tracks and FCPX does not clean the unused ones), and there is no classification linked to the roles and sub-roles on our timeline.
Lots to learn still.

Do you get the same error as you posted below (AAFRESULT_BAD_LENGTH) with both of those fcpxmls?

The have not attached this time either. Can you please compress (zip) them before uploading. It should make them considerably smaller.

I come here this morning to read your answer but I discover my answer from yesterday with the XML files disappeared or never arrived in the forum database.

Here are the XML files in 1.5 and 1.6 formats.




Maybe the cause is the weight: 11 Mb each file.

Can you please attach your FCPXML.

Are you trying to convert a 1.5 fcpxml? Are you able to try converting a 1.6 fcpxml of the same project?

I tested the export of this 57 min documentary a few times before sending to the mixing studio: we wanted to be sure it was working before sending the file. The export was working fine.
This morning, while exporting the final AAF, I encountered an error and the export was not done:

Meanwhile I did an export with an xml I had exported yesterday, and the AAF worked from this AAF.
