Your fcpxml appears to be invalid. There are some audio elements in your project, but there is no information to say what file the audio should come from.
I have attached an fcpxml where the problematic audio elements have been removed. This should allow you to convert your project, but there will be some audio missing. The problematic audio elements that I removed were:

mblazer created the topic: unable to parse FCP XML
I'm trying to import an XML from a finished project. However I' keep getting stuck with the following error:
nable to parse FCP XML file to obtain project information
Details:
Extracting Audio
No ref attribute found
Parsing FCP XML
Parsing FCP XML document
Parsing audio element
Suggestions:
- Ensure that the file is not locked by another application and is readable;
- Ensure that this is a valid FCP XML file from a released version of FCP X;
- Ensure that this is the export of a Project, not of a Library or Event;
- Ensure that this is not an empty project (or that all audio is disabled);
X2Pro Audio Convert 4.0.12
I also tried to export a previous version of xml (1.5). Here I get a slightly different error:
Unable to parse FCP XML file to obtain project information
Details:
Getting asset with Id
Unable to find asset with Id
Suggestions:
