- Is the drive called "TD2 MASTER " plugged in or mounted on your system?
- Is the file called "A001_C006_11162K_001.R3D" present in the folder "/Interviews /TD2 INTERVIEWS /A001_11152O.RDM/A001_C006_11162K.RDC/" on that drive?

Thanks for your swift reply.
The following issues were found (may cause loss of some audio from AAF) :
• Failed to open media file [file:///Volumes/TD2%20MASTER%20/Interviews%20/TD2%20INTERVIEWS%20/A001_11152O.RDM/A001_C006_11162K.RDC/A001_C006_11162K_001.R3D]

X2Pro does support R3D files, so I'm not sure what is going wrong here..
Can you please copy/paste the text from X2Pro, instead of attaching a screen grab so that we can see the whole message.
There is an option in X2Pro that enables creating an AAF even if there were some errors reading audio (the bottom option on the "Media Handling" tab) that might enable you to work around this issue if you are on a tight deadline.

Josh created the topic: X2Pro not working with .r3d files
I'm having some trouble creating an AAF from my FCPXML.
Currently running X2PRO 4.0.12 and FCPX 10.3.1 - I've resorted to forcing X2Pro to create the AAF files but it just can't open my RED files. It just gives an 'AAF created but had some issues' error message and then give me a list of all the source files 'failed to open media file.......' etc.
I've tried giving it a 1..5 and 1..6 XML and I've also tried duplicating my project and detaching all the video from the audio and deleting video layer.
When I go into the preferences and check the media locations it thinks it is all accessible.
What am I doing wrong? I've got a pretty tight deadline for a mix next week so hopefully I can find a work around soon.
Attached is a screen grab of the error message.
Thanks!
