Thank Graeme,
Ok it's simply the reason why this option doesn't affect the result.
But I'm very surprised. Does it a new way of working for X2Pro. I think in previous version of X2Pro, disabled clip in the INSPECTOR was influenced by this option. Is it the case ? (If not, i understand now our misunderstandings about disable "audio" angles for a multicam).
Could you enlighten me about that ?
(I'd suggest you could be "clearer" in your knowledge base about what X2Pro consider as "disable"...)
Thank

Hi Martin,
- For clips or audio tracks that are disabled using the "V" key:
- If "Discard disabled clips" is turned on, these tracks will not be included in the AAF.
- If "Discard disabled clips" is turned off, these tracks will be added, but will have a -96dB clip gain applied to "mute" them.
- For audio tracks that are disabled using the inspector:
- These tracks will not be included in the aaf, regardless of the "Discard disabled clips" setting.
- For roles that are disabled using the roles tab in the index:
- These tracks will be included in the aaf, regardless of the "Discard disabled clips" setting.

Hey
In your knowledge base you write about the "DISCARD DISABLE CLIP" option :
"This option, if selected, makes X2Pro exclude disabled audio clips/tracks from the AAF. The audio from the disabled clips will not be embedded, and the clips will not appear in the sequence timeline."
Could you please confirm that what you call "disable" is all audio unchecked in the "audio configuration" in the INSPECTOR AND clip disabled with the "V" key in the TIMELINE ?
On my new tests, the "DISCARD DISABLE CLIP" option is only effective with clips that are disabled in the timeline with the "V" key and not for audio unchecked in the INSPECTOR...
Thank for your help

Hey,
I'm testing X2Pro with FCP X.3.2 .and X2Pro 4.0.12 for my PDF "Dans les Chaussettes de FCP X". (martingosset.com) and bang the same problem than before occurs.
Could you explain why when the "Discard disable clip" option is unchecked, X2Pro doesn't put disabled audio in the AFF. There is no différence when this option is checked or not when i open the AAF in ProTool...
I've uploaded a "zip" of all item (fcpxml, media from 5D, AAf and ProTool sessions°) for your test and can send you the link by mail.
It's a bit disappointing because this problem is here every time i make test and for 3 years... and X2Pro team doesn't seem to be interested in making anything to change that. Why don't you suppress this option if it doesn't work ?
Thank
Martin Gosset
