X2Pro quit unexpectedly

Dear Kartikye,

Have you been able to reproduce the failure with the latest version of X2Pro ? The reason I ask is that we have looked at and resolved several issues that were caught in crash reports sent to Apple but as they are anonymous we don't know whether we have resolved your issue.

I'm sorry that X2Pro didn't work for you. We are still trying to find out why it was crashing on your specific machine.

If you would like a refund, you should contact Apple because that is who you bought it from.

Hey Graeme. Yes I checked cutting into halves but it doesn't work with both. I even checked doing with other systems, but doesn't work. And unfortunately I wasn't able to deliver the files for which I spent $100 and bought X2, so there's no use of solving the problem now. I heard good reviews about it, and thought it would make it easier for me, but unluckily it's didn't work for me as expected. Let me know please whom I have email to get a refund. I can't spend $100 for software that doesn't even work. Thanks.

We are unable to reproduce the crash here, which makes it very hard to diagnose. It would be much easier if we had access to your project with all it's media files, but I doubt that is possible because of the size, if nothing else.

Were you able to try cutting your project into two halves and converting those to find out what half contained the thing that causes X2Pro to crash? It would be really helpful if you could isolate a small section that causes X2Pro to crash then send us that fcpxml. and the associated media file or files so that we can reproduce it on our systems here.

I'm not sure, but I don't think it's likely to be today. It could help speed up the investigation if you were able to figure out exactly what part of your project is causing the problem. For example if you cut the project into two parts, does one part convert, and the other part cause X2Pro to crash?

If you can do that a few times, it should make it easier to isolate the problem, and you may at least have something that you can open in Pro Tools, even if it isn't the whole project.

Yes it crashes even when I export 1.4 fcpxml.

Does it also crash when you try converting the 1.4 fcpxml?

Yes I can export a 1.4 fcpxml but not 1.6. Attached is the 1.4 version xml.

Can you please make it crash again, then click the "Send to Apple" button so that we get the crash report in our debugging environment.

When you have done this, please tell us what time you made it crash, and what time you pressed the button so that we can know that we are definitely looking at the right crash report.

HEY! I bought X2Audio LE to convert XML to AAF. I exported XML 1.5 from FCP and browse the source folder and destination, and when I start converting- after few moments it unexpectedly quits.
