The upgrade is an "In-App Purchase", so you have to upgrade inside the X2Pro App, not in the App store.
There should be an upgrade button in the X2Pro preferences. See attached picture.

Reddmadder,
I don't know what you were doing with the keychain, perhaps you double clicked the cer file instead of following the instructions below?
The blinking that you describe will be fixed if you put that cer file in the right location.
To clarify; Step 2 below doesn't mean launch the X2Pro app, it means locate in in finder (inside the Applications folder) then ctrl+click (or right-click it if you have that enabled) and select "Show Package Contents". This should show you the contents of the app in finder. It will not launch the app. You can then continue from step 4 onwards.

Well I added to my woes here...clicked ok and now I need to log in to the app and it doesn't open, and starts blinking as well as making my browser blink and all the pull downs, making it impossible to do anything but shut down...after reboot it's closed and my imac functions normally.
I deleted the app and did a reinstall...same blinking occurs.
So apparently I messed up something in the keychain access.

We're sorry that this happened, but we think we have a solution that will keep you going until we can get a fixed version up in the app store.
Please try the following:
Please try the following:
- Unzip the attached file to get a .cer file
- Secondary click on the X2ProLE app (right-click or ctrl+click)
- Select 'Show Package Contents'
- Go into the 'Contents' folder
- Drag the cer file into the 'Resources' folder
- Open X2Pro

Can you please:
- Explain exactly when it crashes (e.g. on app launch, or when opening an fcpxml)
- Explain Exactly what happens when it crashes (e.g. app window disappears and a new window appears containing a crash report)
- If a crash report window appears, make sure you click the "Send to Apple" button, and tell us what time (and time zone) it crashed.

This is very concerning, thanks for getting in touch. We are looking into it.
It runs on our current systems here, but we are getting hold of a clean OS X install to try it on that in case it's something to do with other software that we have installed on our systems.
