Hi Graeme,
I did the steps as outlined but I actually need to use it, so after I put the cer file in the location and completed the steps, that's when I try to open it and it doesn't open.
The cer file did stop the crashing, but not being able to launch it is a separate issue for me now. If there is a manual workaround, I'll do that, as I am in the middle of a job I need to use it for.
Thanks

Lawless, the symptom may be different, but it is the same problem, and it will be fixed if you put that cer file in the right location.
To clarify; Step 2 below doesn't mean launch the X2Pro app, it means locate the app in finder (inside the Applications folder) then ctrl+click (or right-click it if you have that enabled) and select "Show Package Contents". This should show you the contents of the app in finder. It will not try to launch the app. You can then continue from step 4 onwards.
Alternatively, we have pushed an update up to the app store, which should be available to you soon (hopefully less than a day), which will fix the problem without you having to do any of the manual file copying.

Hi Graeme,
It's the LE version. When I click on it, it goes back to my desktop page and it looks like it's about to open and then it disappears. A bit like when it was doing the crashing thing - trying to open constantly - but it happens only once. It's not showing up as open in Finder, so it's like it instantly closes again.
Thanks,
Sharon

Thank you Graeme,
I'll try when I get back to the studio. No reason to apologize and thanks for your efforts first of creating this amazing app and second to quickly finding a solution. Keep up the good work. I'll post if this works on my end.
Thanks again.

We're sorry that this happened, but we think we have a solution that will keep you going until we can get a fixed version up in the app store.
Please try the following:
Please try the following:
- Unzip the attached file to get a .cer file
- Secondary click on the X2ProLE app (right-click or ctrl+click)
- Select 'Show Package Contents'
- Go into the 'Contents' folder
- Drag the cer file into the 'Resources' folder
- Open X2Pro

Hi
I am having exactly the same problem. Gets stuck in a loop of opening then immediately quitting. When I open the Face Quit Applications panel, I can see the app trying to sort and then immediately stop. It happens for ages then just stops. Relaunching finder does not stop the loop. This happens on opening the app as a standalone or thru FCPX plugin.
iMac (27inch Late 2013)
3.5 ghz Intel Core i7
32 g ram
Nvidia GeForce GTX 780M 4096 Mb
OSX 10.12.4

Graeme,
I updated thru the app store and when I opened the program it asked for my iTunes password which I provided. The program then attempted to load and would bounce up from the dock for 1 second, flash the screen and drop down again. I forced a restart and had the same problem. I thrashed X2Pro and downloaded again, same issue. I restarted and tried to open it via FCPxml and same issue. I never received a crash report as the app never started.

This is very concerning, thanks for getting in touch. We are looking into it.
It runs on our current systems here, but we are getting hold of a clean OS X install to try it on that in case it's something to do with other software that we have installed on our systems.
Can you please:

Can you please:
- Explain exactly when it crashes (e.g. on app launch, or when opening an fcpxml)
- Explain Exactly what happens when it crashes (e.g. app window disappears and a new window appears containing a crash report)
- If a crash report window appears, make sure you click the "Send to Apple" button, and tell us what time (and time zone) it crashed.
