We're so sorry that this happened, but we think we have a solution that will keep you going until we can get a fixed version up in the app store.

Please try the following:
  1. Unzip the attached file to get a .cer file
  2. Secondary click on the X2ProLE app (right-click or ctrl+click)
  3. Select 'Show Package Contents'
  4. Go into the 'Contents' folder
  5. Drag the cer file into the 'Resources' folder
  6. Open X2Pro

This is very concerning, thanks for getting in touch. We are looking into it.

It runs on our current systems here, but we are getting hold of a clean OS X install to try it on that in case it's something to do with other software that we have installed on our systems.

Thank you for the video. We haven't seen anything like this before, so the video helps a lot

This is really disappointing. I just bought x2pro LE on the app store. Downloaded it, but having problems with launching/installing it. Upon launching the app I am asked to log-in to my apple ID ("Sign in to use this application on this computer"), as it was purchased from another computer (I didn't buy it from another computer). However after I log on, and try to launch the program, any window that is open starts to blink (the program seems to attempt to launch but due to some error keeps on crashing, creating this blinking effect on any window that is open). I can see the program appear in my dock for a split second, but it disappears instantly (this goes on in loops until I shut down the computer). => see attached video to verify this symptom.

I've tried deleting the program, and re-installing it from the app store. Even asked a friend to log-in with my ID and download the program to my friend's mac, but the same thing happens on her mac, too.

Any advice would be deeply appreciated.

I need to export my feature length film asap, to send it over for sound editing.

(Mac OS 10.11.6, FCPX 10.3.2)
