X2Pro quit unexpectedly?

The reason we were getting the crash was because there is a R3D clip with no audio, but we are attempting to create a channel for it. This is resolved in a later version (4.0.21) that is waiting approval from Apple before it can be made available on the App store.

Tried cutting in half, same problem. tried scaling the project back to just the basic dialogue, still crashing.

Fundamentally there is nothing wrong with the XML it goes through here ok, so it is something to do with the environment or media itself. When it crashed could you forward us a copy of the crash text, and you should have been given an option to forward to Apple of copy of the crash, could you please advise whether you did forward this to Apple as we will be able to check the contents of the crash dump.

At this point we haven't got a lot to go on, so one suggestion would be to see if you can isolate in the XML what is causing the issue, we would suggest just cutting it in half to see which half demonstrates the same issue, and so on.

I should add i have the full version, it is all up to date, as is my fcpx.

I am currently trying to convert an FCPX XML into an AAF with X2Pro to give to my sound designer to open with protools.
I put the XML into the correct place and the software starts to 'inspect' the files but soon after it always crashes and tells me 'X2Pro has quit unexpectedly' this is happening everytime i try it and is a matter of urgency as it is for my Graduation film for University and the hand in is next week. Please help ASAP.
