X2Pro supports mixed sample rates in a project, and X2Pro doesn't convert the sample rates when it creates the AAF. This means that the AAF has mixed sample rates in it, but that is not a problem for Pro Tools either.
Do you have "Apply SRC" turned on when you import the AAF? Can you try turning that off when you import it because that is known to cause sync issues.

Hi,
I created an AAF but when we open it in ProTools it is scrambled. It just seems to be reassigning random / incorrect audio to the edits.
We did notice that the project is using mixed sample rates and bit rates. It says we have files that are 16 and 24 bit along with files that are 44.1 and 48 kHz sample rates. I’ve never understood why Final Cut allows that in a project and doesn’t just conform everything to the same sample and bit rate.
Any thoughts?
