All the audio that X2Pro puts in the AAF is PCM audio. If any of it wasn't PCM audio in the FCP project (e.g. an MP3), it will be converted to PCM before it is put into the AAF.
It is not possible to make X2Pro use optimized or proxy media because the FCPXML doesn't tell X2Pro whether they exist, or even where those files are.

when the AAF is created, it is embedding multiple file types.
what if i want the AAF to only have WAV audio ?
is there a way to force convert all media to that? or have it use the optimized FCP media??
