Unable to find asset portion still a problem?

How peculiar, have you experienced any issues with this drive in the past ? I cannot think of what else could be the issue, the application is literally trying to resolve a path and failing, I would suggest you add the location as a media location and see how it behaves in future.

It's a local drive. All the material is on that drive - so should all be available.

I would check that the location is specifically added in Media locations "Promise%20Pegasus/2017/MH17/MH17%20FCPX%20MEDIA/Final%20Cut%20Original%20Media", however as it goes through now, then is this a local drive or a USB drive ?

I just tried again with X2PRO from the same XML and it did it without any errors this time (except for the retimes, but I am not too worried about those... although I removed all the retimed audio form the timeline, so I don't understand where the X2PRO errors are coming from).

Anyway, it seems to have worked properly this time.
It always stresses me out this stage of post. Deadlines and errors do not mix well.

I did indeed find that shot and removed it. I'll give it to audio post to insert and sync manually. Removing the shot made it possible for X2PRO to create the AAF (phew!), but only if I set the app to create the AAF regardless of media that can't be referenced / media errors. My AAF was incidentally not using referenced media, but copying it into the AAF.

So now I have an AAF but with quite a list of "failed to open media" errors. It's not clear to me if the audio engineer will have the necessary media. I'll paste the log below. Any idea why that media is unable to be opened? I can open it fine via Finder.

Odd, when we run your xml through we get the following warning about clip r282 = "034_0394" the actual mov is located and named.

Is it possible for you to check this media is ok, to remove it from the project and then add it back in again.

Here is a new XML of the same project, but now with all retimed audio removed (retimed video is still in there) and all audio removed from compound clips.
Same error.
Please help!

I am in a hurry to get an AAF out but X2Pro is stumbling over something (compounds? retimes?).

Please help. Is there a way to at least get a list of timecodes so I can manually remove the problematic shots / audio? Now it's like looking for a needle in a haystack.
