Need AAF ASAP but there are error conversion

Yes, in ProTools it shows you the individual audio tracks, i.e. if you had a stereo pair it will be seen in PT as clip.a1 and clip.a2.

why are the tracks doubled... is that normal?

The AAF imports ok into ProTools 12.7, there is a pop up warning that states:

"Could not complete your request because Assertion in "/Volumes/Development/194038/ProTools/NewFileLibs/FF/Audio/FF_AudioFile.cpp", line 1100."

You can ignore this, and import. If your sound guys see any thing different can they advise on exactly what error they see and what version of ProTools they are using.

here is the report I get from my AAF file, I removed all the effects, not sure why i still get messages of unsupported effects.. and when i check on my timeline, not able to find the retimed clips... ex:1:24:92.. it doesn't exist because somehow in my timeline it goes from 1:24:23 to 1:25.. and not sure why and how that happened either.

also not sure why it retimes some clip (get you explain to me what I am doing to cause that)

also, my sound guy wasn't able to open the AAF file, it gave him an error message that the file was corrupt.

Dear Sofia,

There is one source clip that is not in your AAF (7 HzStressGoOfMentalBlocksEmotionalCleansing&RejuvenationOfSpirit(fcp1).mp4), I don't know how important that is to your project ? If it is essential then, we need to look at whether the clip itself is playable and ok.

The rest is warnings about retiming which we do not support but we do tell you where in the AAF they start so you can look at them individually in ProTools, similarly we have some unsupported audio filters which we do not support so we advise where these appear in the AAF.

In the preferences, in media handling, (if media can't be referenced or error)I clicked on the box, to allow the export of AAF but send me issue report ..
