Hi Ralf,
X2Pro is compatible with the latest version of FCP X and is able to convert 1.7xmls.
Unfortunately we haven't heard anything from Apple just yet so it will not be fixed in this version no. Although, the developer did find a way to get the media you sent us into Pro Tools with the correct audio channels.
If you select the project in FCP X and go to:
File > Share > master file
In the settings change the Format to MXF and save that MXF file.
Import that into a new project and export as an xml and convert with X2Pro as normal. This should then work in Pro Tools as expected.
Hope this workaround is successful for you,
Regards,
Daniel

Hello,
Can you enlighten us on the compatibility of FCP 10.4 with X2Pro?
Or possibly maybe good news about some problems that previously occurred with FCPXML files? Are they fixed in Apple's new 1.7 version?
Thank you!
Greetings,
Ralf
