In the current code if a clip has a duration of zero it is discarded.

We have taken a look and the problem is that the first clip on the sequence (687_0309) has a duration of 0 and a retiming. We don't like that. There is also a second usage of the same media with an audio duration of 0. If both of these are removed then the FCP XML parses OK.

We have seen some cases where the new (V1.7) XML version doesn't give good results, can you make sure that you have the project selected correctly and try exporting as a V1.6 XML. This may then process correctly.
