Thank you! Unchecking "reference WAV files in place" was the fix!

Hi Brooke,
It sounds like you have the "Reference WAV files in place" option selected. If it is, unselect it and hopefully it should be fine.

Hello,
I am trying to create an AAF from an XML from a project in Final Cut Pro. I am receiving this error message every time...Writing AAF file
Getting audio characteristics for asset [IMG_3978]
Error trying to create reference for asset (not a WAV file or too many audio channels)
No AAF file has been generated.
X2Pro Audio Convert 4.2.2
Even when I turn off that clip and try again, it just gives me a new clip number and tells me the same thing. I am using footage from my iPhone and the only thing I could think of is that there may be duplicate clip names but I've been creating the same projects for over a year and not had this problem. I just upgraded my Final Cut Pro. What could be the issue here?
Thank you for an assistance on this!
