Hi Karl,
Unfortunately there isn't much you can do from there. In the xml is multiple file paths which link to where the clips are on the editors drive so these all would need to be changed in FCPX . If you have access to FCPX you can relink the clips inside it, then create a new XML file which would point to the clips on your drive. Alternatively, you could have the editor use X2Pro to create the AAF instead.
Regards,
Daniel

I recorded the audio on set - delivered the files to the editor, the audio files have the same labeling. He is editing in FCPX, sent me an XML, when I try to convert the XML into AAF X To Pro cannot find the files because I don't have the editor's drive. I do have a copy of all the audio though and I would like it to reference my copy of the audio, is there a way to do this?
Thanks,
Karl
