Hi iir,
The short answer is X2Pro was designed to work this way to keep the quality of the audio.
The longer answer is we take the audio straight out of the source files so any retiming is ignored (when a conversion is done you should get a message "conform rates have not been applied"). I asked a developer about this and he said it was decided to work like this because the original users wanted us to priorities keeping the quality of the audio when using X2Pro and then they would have their audio finishing guys re-sync it in Pro Tools.

Hello:
I recently exported a movie from FCPX and gave it to the audio engineer to find that when he opens the AAF in Pro Tools certain parts are out of sync. I have read in other posts that this might be due to the use of different frame rates, which is the case.
Any ideas on how to solve this, please?
Thank you.
