That is correct, run the XML through X2Pro and you will get an AAF file you which contains all of the media.

Thank you! So the process would be to export and XML from final cut then run it through x2pro and export the AAF file?

If you embed the audio in the AAF that is all that your sound designer will need.

Hello,

I am working with a sound designer and he is using pro tools. He does not live in the same city, does anyone know if he has to have my drive with all the files or can i just send him the aaf file and he can work with that?
