Are you running the Pro or LE version of X2Pro?
If you are running the Pro version, have you got the 'Trim embedded audio' option Ticked?

Our ProTools guy says the X2PRO aaf files I'm sending him are gigantic considering it's for :15 promos. They're like 20, 30 MB and says the audio is not consolidating before exporting and sending the entire source clip instead of just what's used in the sequence.
