Urgent!!! An error occurred converting FCXML to AAF

Although you have read/write permission the application may not have. Add a media location at the root of each drive and see whether that helps.

I have access to the media and I have read/write permissions on all my drives so I don't understand why the paths are not recognised. I always had the files in the same folders before and never had this issue

Regarding the issue you are seeing, can you check a couple of the paths that the media does exist there and that you do have access to it i.e.

Ok I have been getting this error for over a week now, with different timelines and files and I almost suspect it is a bug linked to the updated version, as I have been using this software for over a couple of years and never encountered this before.

This is the message that appears when I tell X2Pro to generate an error and not create the file[/u][/u]

Writing AAF file
Adding assets to AAF file
Adding essence for asset [A039C456_1707064D_CANON_P] to AAF file
Opening audio extractor for portion 0 of asset [A039C456_1707064D_CANON_P]
Failed to initialise audio extractor with default bit depth of 24
Error Setting up for audio extraction (The operation could not be completed)

Suggestion: Does this movie contain an unsupported audio format ?

No AAF file has been generated.

If, on the other hand I tell X2Pro to generate a warning and continue creating the AAF file I will get this:

Have tried exporting so many different XMLS (diff FCX versions and different metadata view) also deleting some audio files that could have been considered problematic but nothing really worked.

Can anyone help? I have tonnes of work to pass onto my sound engineer but won't be able to do anything if the software doesn't convert.
