The message is a bit misleading, the suggestion that the format is not supported is a 'guess' because no data could be obtained from the file. The real problem is further up the message:

The requested URL was not found on this server

The audio files are either not on the machine that you are running X2Pro on or are not accessible to X2Pro.

I've just bought x2Pro to transfer a feature film for Protools audio mix and I'm doing a first test, but it's failed with ..
Can anyone help please?

Writing AAF file
Adding assets to AAF file
Adding essence for asset [TASCAM_0321S1] to AAF file
Opening audio extractor for portion 0 of asset [TASCAM_0321S1]
Failed to initialise audio extractor with default bit depth of 16
Error Setting up for audio extraction (The requested URL was not found on this server.)

Suggestion: Does this movie contain an unsupported audio format ?

No AAF file has been generated.

Hi Hartmut,

Could you send the whole error message X2Pro gives when it gets interrupted please? If you could attach your fcpxml as well I can take a look to see what file it might be having an issue with.

Thanks,
Daniel
