Hi FlowD,
Happy to say Apple accepted the 4.5.14 build last night which accepts the metadata in the Ixml section where we were not expecting it. Hopefully a couple of hours and it should be live for you to upgrade to from the app store.
Yours Sincerely
James

Hello, I seem to have the same issues, 4.5.13 crashes almost constantly while inspecting Audio-assets with any kind of xmls (dialogue, sfx). Tried to narrow it down by deleting files in the timeline - no luck.
Of course we're in a hurry trying to deliver a 6-part TV-show. and my X2pro backups only go back till 10.5.10
I remember that 10.5.9 (or .8?) was very stable - Would you see any chance to send me a stable built?
attached crash report
fingers crossed ; )

Hi Shea,
Looking through the notes Daniel was unable to see that any missing track occurred. Would you be able with a sequence that demonstrates this highlight with some screen shots on PT what is missing, and I will forward a link to an ftp site if you can upload the XML you used and the AAF it created.
Many thanks
James

Understood, James.
We are still missing huge chunks of dialogue audio in our AAF's and can't discern why. I'm happy to supply whatever reference material is necessary to get to the bottom of this, and our audio engineer will also be testing the newest version of protools to see if that is causing any issues on import.
All the best - Shea

Hi Shea,
Daniel is on holiday, apologies for the delay in getting back to you, it appears we raised only one ticket for both issues and it got marked as resolved when we supplied the 4.5.14 version (to stop the crashing due to an error in the iXML parsing section of WAV file extraction).
Yours Sincerely
James

Hey, Daniel. Any word on if the Pro Tools version may impact import?
We are going to note some more files today that are missing to see if any of them are missing on your side as well.

Hi Shea,
I'm afraid I am unable to reproduce the issue you are seeing. If I generate an AAF from your XML and open it in Pro Tools I am able to see the two clips you mentioned at the correct timecodes (after some scrolling down hunting for them).
What version of Pro Tools are you using? I am wondering if the version might have an effect on the importing.

OK, so below are 2 examples of dialogue clips missing.
I have the XML, the TXT file, TC and file name.
TC: 00:00:41:10 - A055_A0090831FM_001
TC: 00:01:22:21 - A054_A115_08292S_001

Hi Shea,
That would be great, please. If you could provide timecodes, name of the clip etc. of one or two clips in FCPX that go missing in Pro Tools that would be useful information in seeing the issue here.
