Dear JBlack,

It looks like the issue is a compounded rounding error in our reading of the XML, and we are expecting a fraction more of the asset than actually exists. Waiting for development to resolve. In the meantime if you want to trim a millisecond off of the end of the use of the asset in the XML you should find that would work.

Hope the above helps.

Yours Sincerely

James

Dear Jblack,

The issue is probably that the Asset r505 says it is x-y frames but in the XML it is referencing timecodes that are not within that X and Y figures. If you are able to attach the XML then we will be able to confirm, and also detail where the clip is so you can look at it and check it.

Yours Sincerely

James

Jblack created the topic: Unable to find asset portion error
Hello,

I am trying to create an AAF file for audio turnover and keep receiving the following error:

Unable to find asset portion in asset r505 to match usage starting at 0 seconds with duration 16.316 seconds.

I don't have a file that matches this name and have no idea how to fix this problem. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
