Ok, I've added this feature request to our list.

Is this two people interested in this feature, or is "Paul Sinkovich" the same person as "everettmarshall"?

Historically the AAF file format only supported Mono audio tracks. I have just checked and Pro Tools 10 does support reading stereo tracks from an AAF, but we chose to make X2Pro convert everything to mono tracks for compatibility with older software which may not support stereo track in an AAF.

This could be a feature to implement in the future if there was enough interest. Would you like me to add it to our system as a feature request?

Any reason why an FCPX project with stereo audio tracks ends ups with 2 mono music tracks in Pro Tools 9.0.6? Perhaps I'm not converting with X2Pro properly but I have tried a number of different times to see if there is anything that I've missed, but I'm not seeing it.

I can certainly create new stereo tracks after import and move everything there, then delete the extra monos tracks but is seems like X2Pro should be able to move those properly.
