Dear Charlie,
We believe we have resolved the issue 3757, in our latest release, would be very grateful if you could advise whether you have upgraded to 2.1.9 and that all is well.
Yours Sincerely and many thanks.
James.

I'm glad that suggestion helped. Thank you for letting me know.
It would be better if you didn't have to discard transitions to get it to convert, so is there any chance that I could look at your fcpxml anyway so that we can try to support whatever it is that is causing the issue in a future version?

Hello Graeme, out of the dozens of projects I've exported only this one has given me trouble, so the success rate of X2 Pro has been exceptional and I am very grateful to this programme.
Yes, I am using the full version of X2 Pro 2.1.6. I never had to upgrade to the Professional version, because that is the version I bought from the start.
And guess what? You're suggestion to discard transition worked! Thank you so much and sorry for the late reply!
Regards.

I have a few questions for you:
- Can you please confirm that you are using X2Pro 2.1.6?
- Are you using X2Pro (the full version), or X2Pro LE?
- If using the LE version have you purchased the Pro upgrade?
- If you choose to discard transitions (X2pro Preferences>General>Discard transitions), does the conversion work?
- Can you please attach your fcpxml?

CAE created the topic: An error occurred converting Final Cut XML to AAF
Dear X2Pro support staff,
I've been converting several projects from XML to AAF successfully, but for one. I have tried converting it using LXPRO Professional several times and I've even restarted the program and re-exported the project's XML, but I always receive this message during the same point in the conversion process:
Writing AAF file
Adding tracks to AAF file
Writing AAF track structure
Adding clip to track in AAF file. Clip references frames 18335 to 19626 of source channel 1 of asset r58.1
Adding Clip to sequence
Adding clip to current track on AAF composition
Adding Operation Group to Sequence
AAFRESULT_INSUFF_TRAN_MATERIAL
No AAF file has been generated.
I've got FCPX 8.0.0 and the latest version of X2PRO Professional.
Please can anyone help me? I have no idea what to do and am running on a tight schedule.
Thank you for your time.
