Dear Kris,
We do have other tools where we read from an Avid the AAF and amongst other things can convert this sequence into an FCP 7 sequence, no effects are transferred just the master clips and how they are layed out in the sequence. Not sure its appropriate to discuss in this forum as this is primarily for X2Pro, so will pop you a direct mail.

I have the opposite problem. I work on Digital Performer that understands and conforms XMLs but the only thing I can get from Avid is an AAF package and an EDL. Conforming is very tricky, manual, time consuming and basically and a pain in the neck. Is there any change your tool does this kind of conversion?
