Hiya,
I found a bug with the error report. The time code is not correct.
It seems to report in time code relative to the start of the project, but it would be nice if it actually followed the time code of the project. Mine starts at 00:59:50.00 for example.
This makes it nearly impossible to find what clips are actually causing problems. The best would be if it said the name of the clip and what time. It would also be nice if it would show the retiming errors in order. Now they are randomly orderer.
Best wishes.
/Andreas

Hi Andreas,
I have added a feature request to our system asking that effects (including retiming) that do not apply to audio are not reported.
It's not that easy for us to tell what the retiming is because we just get told about a speed difference as a fraction in the FCPXML. There is not enough info to tell that it was a 24>25fps conversion
You are right that the log is not saved anywhere, but you can select and copy it, then paste it into a file.

I wish retiming errors would be easier to read. First it gives me retiming errors to both videos without sound and videos with sound.
We are using a lot of slow motion and we normally don't care if we have retimed the slow motion. However we do care if we have a sound file that has been retimed since that will introduce problems.
Maybe you can write the
- name of the clip that has been retimed so it would be easier to find.
- write how the retiming has been done. so if its 24fpx->25fps for example
- have a checkbox "Show warnings for Videos"
It would also be nice if the log is safed anywhere on disk, I couldn't find it anywhere.
Best wishes, Andreas
